Many smartphone manufacturers have already rolled out Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) upgrades for their selected handsets. This new Android version is compatible for both Android 2.3 Gingerbread and Android 3 Honeycomb – for tablets – so we will be expecting lots of tablets and phones
running on ICS in the coming months.
If you are one of the unlucky Android phone owners who’s handset won’t receive Android ICS upgrade, or you are a non-Android user that wants to try an Android 4.0 phone, you can plan your choice from the following upcoming Android 4.0 phones this 2012.
HTC Evo 4G LTE
Don’t get confused with the HTC Evo 4G (released in 2010) as the HTC Evo 4G LTE is an upscale phone compared to the former. It features HD Voice technology that highly improves voice communication on a smartphone. Key hardware specs are impressive too. It has a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB storage, 8MP primary camera and 1.3MP secondary camera.
The HTC Evo 4G LTE was announced on April 2012 and is expected on Sprint’s shelves in the second quarter of 2012. For the price of $199.99 on a 2-year contract, this phone is definitely a good choice.
